Adjusting Industrial Structure Is Primary Task of Ball Mill Industry

In recent years, restricted by overall technology level of China, ball mill industry is suffering huge competitive pressure. The reason is that cast steel, cast iron and other raw materials are seriously wasted in production process, thus raising production cost. Rapid economic development promotes continuous acceleration of industrialization process. On the one hand, rapid economic development enhances the strength of our country and improves living standard of people. One the other hand, industrialized development also brings huge energy consumption and serious environmental pollution problem. Ball mill as one of the main mining machinery machines has huge emissions and energy consumption, which is bad for market competition and long-term development of industry. Therefore, promoting product upgrade and adjusting industrial structure are primary tasks of ball mill industry at present.

According to statistics, power consumption of ball mill accounts for 40% to 50% of the whole production process in mining industry. Power consumption of ball mill in cement industry can reach 70% of the total electricity consumption. And power consumption of ball mill in thermal power industry accounts for 30% of the plant. Moreover, power consumption of all the domestic ball mills is up to 2% of national total power generation, which leads to huge energy and material consumption. With the shortage of high-quality coal, ore and other resources, extensive use of poor materials in industrial production makes grinding efficiency of ball mill generally lower, thus further increasing energy consumption of unit output. During work, when grinding media of ball mill impact and grind materials, they will inevitably be worn. Lining board and other parts in the cylinder will also be worn accordingly. Hence, in whole cement production process, the quantity of consumed iron of grinding work is large. According to statistics, steel consumption of producing every ton of cement is about 1 kg. The status quo of ball mill industry is very bad for both market competition and long-term development of ball mill industry in China. In order to reverse this situation, ball mill industry in China must avoid materials waste, energy consumption and environmental pollution generated in casting process.

Although demand of domestic and foreign market is inseparable from medium and small enterprises, however, the fierce market competition between enterprises will eliminate these backward enterprises, thus improving quality of these mining machines gradually. In order to adapt to this market situation, ball mill manufacturers are forced to produce more high-quality ball mills with higher technical level to meet demands of downstream firms. Aiming at above problems, ball mill industry must accelerate technical progress of ball mill and promote adjustment of industrial structure.
